ANCEDA raises awareness of environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable utilization of natural resources. The organization is - among other projects - responsible for the planting of new trees in the Southern Rift Valley in collaboration with local communities and schools, is looking for alternative fuel for the areke production, strengthening gender equality and protecting the quality of life for those living with or impacted by HIV/AIDS.
